LAWNS:

The most important thing you can do for your lawn is feed it!.  A well-fed lawn can better withstand heat, cold, drought, mowing, foot traffic and other stresses.   Feeding your lawn in the spring strengthens roots and provides a good start for the heavy growing season.  Apply Ferti-Lome weed and feed AFTER you have cut your lawn twice.
****If you sprayed your weeds in January fertilize your yard with the GroSmart spring fertilizer program.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BEDS, SHRUBS AND TREES:


Fertilizers contain Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potassium.  Simply put, it greens up your plants, stimulated blooms and enriches the roots.  Florikan 12.6.6 is a great all
purpose fertilizer.  This should be applied to your flower beds, as well as any trees, shrubs and seasonal color.
You should fertilize your lawn and shrubs 3 times a year with these slow release granular products. Just remember  —— MARCH / JUNE/ SEPTEMBER

Time to trim Crepe Myrtles

 

  • Never cut more than 12”-15” off each branch.
  • Never cut off a branch that is larger than a pencil.

If you want a beautiful weed free lawn this spring, now is the time to get started. By spraying while your grass is dormant, you are able to treat your pesky weeds before new growth develops this spring.

A mixture of Atrazine and Weed Free Zone sprayed on your lawn will give you a beautiful lush lawn this spring.

Weed Free Zone can be sprayed throughout your lawn.  Atrazine should ONLY be sprayed on your grass.  Avoid spraying it on or near shrubs and trees.

   
  Atrazine controls both emerged weeds as well as weed from seed in St. Augustine and Centipede grass. Do not spray this chemical on or near trees and shrubs.    Weed Free Zone controls over 80 of the toughest to control broadleaf weeds like clover, ivy, buttonweed, and Bermuda grass. Spray this chemical throughout your yard.
